The Tin Can Candle Company – Handmade Soy Candles

1. About Us

The Tin Can Candle Company is a small, family-run business based in Herefordshire, UK. All candles are hand-poured in small batches using soy wax and recyclable tins.

2. Ordering

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian.

All orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you to offer a replacement or full refund.

3. Prices & Payment

All prices on our website are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
We accept payment via Shopify’s secure checkout system (including debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).

Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship within the United Kingdom.
Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility passes to the courier.
If your parcel is delayed or missing, please contact us and we will assist in resolving the issue.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of handmade candles, slight variations may occur.
If there is an issue with your order (damaged, incorrect, or faulty items), please contact us within 14 days with your order number and photographs. We will replace or refund the item.

We cannot accept returns of used candles.

6. Candle Safety

Our candles include safety instructions on the product label.
By purchasing our products, you agree to follow basic candle safety, including:

  • Always trim the wick before each burn

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials

  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time

We are not liable for damage caused by misuse or failure to follow these instructions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, product descriptions, and images — is the property of The Tin Can Candle Company and may not be used without written permission.

We respect your privacy and only use your information to process orders and improve our service.
